Six-week Maths package
One-to-one · Year 1 – Year 6
Aligned to the national curriculum, each package concentrates on the key mathematical areas for your child's year group across six weeks. Our mastery approach takes children through concrete resources, then pictorial representations, then abstract number — so that understanding is built rather than memorised.
The shape of an hour
Every session
Ten minutes of fluency. A short retrieval task on the basics — number bonds, times tables, mental arithmetic — because speed on the basics is what frees up thinking for everything else.
New learning. The year group concept for that week, taught properly and practised.
Reasoning and problem solving. A mix of reasoning questions and challenging multi-step problems, where the maths actually gets used. Weekly homework is set from the new learning segment.
How it operates
Six weeks, written feedback.
Each package runs over six weeks, with one hour-long session a week at £40 a session in person or £30 online. Your child receives a folder at the start containing all resources and tasks.
Sessions blend teacher support with independent work. At the end of the six weeks, parents receive written feedback detailing progress, strengths and areas for development.
